Hi, same situation with me. But, when I moved to new domain name, I continued to host my blog at Blogger.

Google continue to index my posts with the same speed.

Wordpress ping service should make articles be indexed even faster than blogger though blogspot is a family member of goole. Here you indicate that blogger pr=8, that’s just for blogger homepage, every new member have to start with a pr=n/a, never mind you or me,

Well, I agree with you to a certain extent. I have a self-hosted wordpress blog. But, I don’t see me getting any trouble from Google at all. I update my blog almost everyday, so, since the content changes, I get 2-3 visits from Google bot everyday.

Blogger is indeed seen as a high reputed site by google since google owns it
